Default T Connector shortage??

Hello, I have been trying to get my 2013 F150 repaired and according to the local dealer I need an upper Rad Hose T Connector and they are back ordered with no time frame when one would be coming in. It has now been 2 weeks and still nothing. I suppose the most frustrating part is the dealer wanted me to rent a car while waiting for the truck to be repaired and can't give me an answer . I have had to borrow a relatives truck now to attend a family emergency 500 miles from where I live.

I just recently had to fix this issue. I simply walked into my local Ford dealership and they had one on hand in their parts storage warehouse. Cost me around $75 though. Walked out with my legs spread a little farther apart due to the raping that had just occurred. Sorry to hear about your troubles though.

I just had a water pump replaced under warranty last week, they replaced the upper "t" connector as the "O" ring is not serviceable, according to the work order.

That looks like the lower rad hose, not the t-connector.

Had my T connector replaced 3 weeks ago. They got it next day. Strange indeed.

Thanks for the reply folks, Still no part around here, I have checked other dealers around the area and no one has one, so have sent a message to Ford maybe someone will get back and maybe they can at least give me an idea what is going on.

I was able to get one from my dealer just the other week.

Email Tasca, FastPartsNetwork, Gary Yeomans etc all of the big name dealers who do OEM parts / performance at discounts.

My dealer was able to get my Y/T connector in a week. Upper rad hose, different story.
