This may be the case plus I add 1.2 oz of Archoil AR9100 per quart anyway and it works better in conventional but at $3.20 a quart for full synthetic in 5 quart bottles of WM motor oil I just run with the full synthetic motor oil in our gas engines. The 1,000,000 Mobil One test is without meaning in my case because we have only had one engine with over 500,000 miles on it. It was a 4.3L in an S10 truck that only had seen dino oil. Clearly functionally speaking there is not better motor oil than the owner manual specs.

Next oil change will be Mobil 1. Havre used it forever. No problems.
