Synthetic or Conventional at 77,000 miles
I have a 2012 with the 5.0 and 77,000 miles which always used conventional oil . Due for an oil change which oil would be best? Sticking with conventional or switching to full synthetic, synthetic blend, high mileage synthetic, high mileage conventional, etc

Not to start a heated discussion but...
I was in Rural King the other day and found the 5 quart jugs of Harvest King 5W-20 full synthetic oil for under $9 a jug, and a 12 1/2% rebate. I checked Bob the oil guy site and they say it is good to go, not as big an additive package as Mobil 1.

It is a Mystic oil manufactured by Citgo, has dexos1 certification and API SN rated.

I run regular Valvoline full synthetic. That is what I run in my wife's truck and it has 126K-miles on it. My 99 Toyota gets the Valvoline High Mileage synthetic. Frankly, I don't think it makes a difference.

A good full synthetic is going to be your best option. Semi Synthetic is what the manual calls for. I use Mobil 1 full synthetic and still change it at 5000 miles. Ford says I can go 7500 with full synthetic, but I'd rather stick with the 5K interval.
