so
activating SIRI on phone doesn't work thru sync because there is no audio connection. Siri doesn't hear you. She just keeps asking what you want.
no phone number on incoming texts
time stamp issue on incoming texts.
Shaay - hopefully there is a tested and sorted out update to fix all this in the works. Right now significantly functionality is compromised.

So many moons ago I started a saga with Ford and Sync. CAS-7316394-G1W6B2 CRM:01958000000271, In the years since, my sync has been unreliable and things on it just don't work. So I have been waiting for an update to restore functionality such as USB playing and Phone connectivity. I'm going to give this a try. I hope for the best, and I expect the worst.

I have a 2012 ford f-150 that i am having a problem updating to the current update DR3T-14D544-AG SYNC v4.6. The website says system error and has been this way for about a month. I have contacted sync tech support, they said it was being looked into. It has been a month. I have tried on multiple computers to no avail. Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

A whole bunch of us are having the same issue and I've seen no report of anyone that has had it solved. I doubt anyone is working on it because it would be as simple as emailing the file to the people affected.

Well... I disconnected the battery and reconnected it 30 sec later... still no Siri interaction. It's like the Siri functionality missing. All other BT functions seem to work but the mic is not connecting when requested... Siri hears nothing...

Called FORD the other day about this.
Tried to update 2014 STX. Woman at FORD said they have problems with update files on website and to wait till Jan-Feb timeframe and try download-install again then

Thanks for letting us know. I was finally able to download as well after having the download error since 4.6 was released. Haven't updated yet though.
