They took my Vin, my account info, and reproduced the issue. I was told that I would be contacted 40 days ago. I'm sure I'm waisting my time but when I'm told something and they don't follow through, I remember that.

Do you actually need/want the update? I understand wanting the website to be fixed, but I work in technology for a living, and the chances of Ford web devs fixing what is probably a small number of complaints actually getting to them is slim to none.

I do have to admit that the entire Sync website is very unintuitive. Every time I log into it, I'm immediately frustrated by how unorganized it is. Big buttons don't equal organization; I wish more vendors would realize that.
Anyway, if you do want the latest files, I have them for both the 4.2" Sync and 8" MFT, I'd be happy to PM you a link.

Chances are an email was sent to a manager at a lower level and that's about as far as it got. Unless an entire system is affected, this kind of stuff usually never makes it to the top of the chain. I know that the helpdesk at my employer struggles with calling folks back without a resolution to an issue, that may be what is going on here. The folks who took your information could have been told that there is no fix or nobody would be looking into it and didn't want to have to call you with that news.
