Here's an article with a picture of Sync 3 and MyFord Touch side-by-side. Looks like Sync 3 replaced MyFord Touch...which is why I'm surprised that they updated the old MyFord Touch with Siri Eyes Free support. I figured that they were finished with MFT.

So it appears that there's three distinct versions of Sync:

1. Sync - No 8" touchscreen (confusing since there's a Sync v3 that's distinctly different from Sync 3)
2. Sync 2 with MyFord Touch
3. Sync 3

crappy? Here we go. I beg to differ my friend. I've tried android a few times over the years and it's just so clunky and freezes, crashes etc. the iPhone however just works.

this is for iPhones only I'm assuming since they only reference Siri. I have no idea what android equivalent to Siri is.
