I have had this reoccuring issue for a probably 5 months now, where I will be playing bluetooth connected music on SYNC and it will eventually go "connect error contact dealer" than turn to the radio and eventually black out and restart the system. It does this periodically and randomly, I have contacted Ford and they're no help. I have already reset everything in SYNC to factory and master reset on everything mutiple times, nothing works. Ford refused to give me a fuse diagram because my truck is "too old." If anyone has ever experienced this please help, I'm stuck with listening to music off my phone speakers.

In addition, I just recently put a new battery in (2 weeks ago) and I couldn't attach the video of it doing it but this is what appears, before it blacks out.

Have you tried updating the software. I was having connection issues and updated the software and all is good.

 

doesnt give me the option to, says its all updated, idk if there’s a way to get it online and use a flash drive and plug it in or not
