3.2.2 came out this past summer. I had the TSB applied to mine last month and it has been 100% perfect.

interesting thread and a good read. I just got my truck yesterday and believe the build date is 10/13/11, but am curiouse to know if this would still apply to me since the build date is different? My fiance is driving the truck back up to dealership this afternoon to get it cleaned, etc. Would like them to do this TSB update if it applies to me.

I havent even paired my phone yet so have no idea if my sync will have issues....was planning on doing that this evening when I got home from work. Would it be dumb to ask them to perform this TSB?

I was having the exact same issue as well. Brought mine in today for regular service and also requested they make this update as described in the bulletin.

Time will tell. Does anyone know how to tell by version readout what level the device is at currently?

I have the exact same issue in my 2010 & 2011. It will freeze up and you hit aux and it goes right back to radio--acts like Sync isn't even installed. Mine usually happens after long trips or if it's hot outside. If you hit aux really really fast repeatedly Sync will come back on----just a temporary fix so you don't have to be turning the truck on and off. I have installed the new update and haven't had an issue since.

Ever since I got mine back Sync has been great. Everything seems to be working correctly. I have fits with the commands and what exactly I need to say, but suppose thats in due time.

Thanks Gang for doing the homework on this one. I've been having this issue for months. Didn't bother taking it to the dealer before...they don't seem to get these types of things.

With info in hand from this very post, I challenged the service department who previously tried the "we need it for the entire day to perform tests to insure ....blah blah blah..." I read report status where it calls out 0.4 hrs... got a call back a few minutes later...seems they can go ahead and do that while I'm getting my oil changed. Power to the people.

My dealer had no problem. I went in for a scheduled oil change and told them to apply this specific tsb. "It will fix a problem I'm having with the Sync." They did just that. I was lucky I guess.

It did work. Well, it burped once and rejected my pairing. But that's my own fault. The service manager recommended a re-pairing of my device and I ignored that advice because it was working fine until then. So I deleted my device from Sync and re-paired it. Not one lockup since.

I posted earlier in this thread a successful application of TSB 11.10.22 which was not true. I had taken my truck in last Dec. to have the TSB performed. Dealer said they reprogrammed the ACM per TSB, and all should be good. Sync & all of it's functions were working well, and then after a week all the problems came back. I went to check my syncmyride account to see if there were any new updates for the Sync module, and nothing. I decided to check my Sync update history, and noticed the 3.2.2 update was reapplied on 12/1/11. The day I had my truck @ the dealer to perform the TSB for the ACM. I called the dealer, and rescheduled another appointment. The dealer had to call Ford for the latest calibration for the ACM. It has been over 2 weeks now, and no problems so far.

For those that had the TSB(supposedly) applied, and are still having problems. I would check to see if your dealer only reapplied the 3.2.2 update for Sync instead of the actual TSB for the ACM. Or go back to the dealer, and have them call Ford for the latest calibration for the ACM.

So I have my truck over at ford right now trying to get this fixed and they said that my software is all up to date, so can't figure out why its not working. Of course when I took it over to Ford SYNC started working, which means they can't diagnose any hardware problems since its fully functional.

Arggghhhh!
