My phone was hooked up to sync then I lost my phone connection. When I try to sync my phone I don't get a number to sync them together. Also if you go into the advanced setting in the menu there is nothing there. It doesn't list anything there. Has anyone ever had this problem?

Sync is garbage mine works when it wants to, the navigation is an absolute disgrace!!

I must be lucky. I've owned 2 F150's with Sync and never had a problem with either.

Delete the phone from Sync and delete Sync from your bluetooth settings on the phone. Complete the pairing process again. Occasionally a clean sweep of both devices is necessary especially if your phone's software was updated.

I did delete sync from my phone. I don't get a pin number to sync them together again. If you go into the advanced settings there is nothing there. You can't even get the vehicle health report. I disconnected the battery for awhile to see if it would reset itself. That didn't help either.

What about a master reset of Sync? It's in the settings. If you haven't already, try that.

Pull the fuse for SYNC. Don't remember exactly which one it is (#2?). Occasionaly I have to "bounce" my SYNC system with a fuse reset. I usually get the dreaded "Storage full" or indexing...forever.

Do a master reset and delete sync from your phone. Reconnect both devices and it should work. Also make sure there isnt an update for your sync system. Syncmyride.com
