Sync & phone won't connect

My phone was hooked up to sync then I lost my phone connection. When I try to sync my phone I don't get a number to sync them together. Also if you go into the advanced setting in the menu there is nothing there. It doesn't list anything there. Has anyone ever had this problem?

If you don’t see a button that says AUX, you can also press the hard PHONE button to access the same menu. Specific instructions for your 2012 F-150 can be found on page 156 of the Navigation System Supplement: http://www.fordservicecontent.com/Fo.../12ngnsn3e.pdf
