Sync Issues
Hi,
I have a 2013 FX4 with Sync and MFT.
First issue is that when I try to run a Vehicle Health Report it says I need to hit 200 miles. I have run a health report last year just fine. I tried unplugging my Allstate device from the OBDII and still doesn't work. All settings and profile is updated on the sync account website.
Second issue is when I try to install the sync/MFT update from my flash drive it doesn't work. I've tried taking the "auto install" file out of the EA5T folder and making it separate from that folder. When I do that it starts updating and the fails on 2/2 saying an install file is incorrect. If I do not move the auto install file out of the folder it just doesn't notice the flash drive or that there's an update.
What gives? Any help is appreciated.

Hey King216,
I can help! You did the correct thing in removing the device you have in the OBD port. After you complete that, you should pull the e-brake and try to run the report again.
For the update, you should have 3 items on the root directory of the USB. Two files (autoinstall.lst & DONTIND.msa) and a folder name SyncMyRide. There are about 20 files inside of that folder. Is this what you see on your USB?

I took out the Allstate device before starting the truck and the Vehicle Health Report worked perfectly. I kept unplugging it after starting the truck and that was the issue.
As for the Sync update, I dragged those two files out of the folder, and also realized that the folder was titled EA5T something instead if SyncMyRide. However, the update still fails right away at 2/2 and says the update file is incorrect or something.
