I have a 3G. That seams like a pricy solution.... Get rid of the 3G and drop hundreds on the 3GS? There has to be a better way.

I have 3gs and have the same problem. Adjusting the volume on the iphone does not increase volume on the stereo for the call after that. Iphone volume is all the way up and I still have to turn it up on the stereo every time. It is really ****ty they don't have a solution for this. You can adjust all other voice control volumes....

I think it would be of value to check that sync is fully up to date. The volume level on the device should not have any effect on the volume level in Sync. I don't have an Iphone but my Blackberry, like others have mentioned holds the volume from the previous call, at a level that is completely different than the volume I listen to the radio.

Microsoft is continually updating the software....it's worth a shot.
