If you are talking on sync throught the radio speakers...how do you switch to a personal call? This meaning just using your phone to talk. Thanks

with the nav you just press "privicy on" Not sure if you dont have nav

Hit the Privacy button It'll switch back to your phone .. I love SYNC it's a great feature.

i use my phone itself. i hit the "bluetooth" option and it takes it off of bluetooth just for the in use call.

I have sync without nav, and all I do is on my iphone hit the personal button.

without nav, i think the easiest way is to turn the bluetooth on your phone off

Got my answer. Push phone button on the radio then scroll to privcy push ok.
