Default Sync gets stuck on song?

Got a wierd problem with my sync. If i'm listening to my ipod via the usb connector and i shut the car off and get back in and turn it on, it won't play any other songs if you use the buttons to skip to the next track it just starts that song over again, same thing if you use the voice command and say play next track. It's freakin wierd.

Mines been doing the same. Either tell it to play genre, album or arist again (temporary fix) or tell it to "Repeat Off." I did that this afternoon but have not gotten back into the truck to see if it worked.

Mine does the same thing as well, when my ipod touch is plugged into the usb. But doesn't do it when a memory stick is plugged in.

I have noticed a slight problem lately. Lets spread the word to put the year, make, and model in the post we are asking a question in so others don't have to search to find it. But for the question what type of IPod are you useing. There are software compatability problems with the IPod touch that haven't been fixed yet. If you are using another type of device im not sure.

Maybe pull the fuse? Not too sure, but maybe getting the SYNC reset might help?

You guys with problems may want to go to syncmyride.com and get the latest firmware update for the sync system. I did it as soon as I got my truck and it hasnt had any problems. There was one time it took a really long time to index but other than that it has been smooth sailing.

You could also try a master reset, it is a computer afterall.
