Frankly, I did not buy a truck so my phone would work with it. And, I did not buy a cell phone so a truck could display its text messages.

I just got my new 2011 and I can't get my BB Torch to connect via bluetooth. Some folks here say the've had no problems, but I'm stuck. Georgia has a handsfree law so I need to get it working.

Does anyone know if the TSB 11-6-9 update will fix this?

In case anyone else has this same problem, here is how I resolved it. Called the dealer's service dept. The guy who answered the phone listened to my question and said he would research it and call me back when he found something. 5 min later he called me back and said the only thing he found was to reset the phone by pulling the battery out while it was still on. I had already tried pulling the battery out while it was shut down. So I tried it and it worked. The other thing I did was put the Sync system in "listen" mode and "searched" from the phone. The two found each other and now my blackberry torch is working fine with sync.

......sucks being ahead of the curve I guess!
Just cause its best selling doesnt mean its good, however in the case of the F150 it is . If you look at the tech specs crapple is actually one of the worst phones you can buy. Slow, non upgradable, cant even change the battery or add memory, lol! Its all about advertising and hype. If people bought phones based on actual capabilities no one would get an iphone. Top end android phones are 2x as good as iphones and they work with the text features.
