Useless
I had pretty much bet this was never going to happen. Rebecca and Jaclyn will be replaced and we will never see anything. This will stop me buying the Mustang GT350 - flat-plane crank and a hobbled stereo.... I want the Camaro SS 1LE instead.

Apple CarPlay is the way to go
It takes a company that knows software to get this done. A company that doesn't use its customers as beta testers and leave them with half functioning cars compared to what they were promised. A company that knows the meaning of Software Update. Jaclyn / Rebecca - prove that you're real.

I still think we are a few years away from having all these different OS's and manufacturers working seamless thru one head unit.
Although the speech recognition isn't all that great, using the My Touch version of sync. My htc evo and now my htc one M8 have worked well with sync..
Not to say, I don't care about an update. I definitely do.
I'm pretty sure the 15 is running the same sync us 13 & 14's have. Maybe that'll prompt an update.

Fast Driver Slow Truck
I like how it says to check our sync accounts....when I log in all it does is ask for money. can't get the app to work on my phone because...you guessed it, it asks for money. Haven't even had the truck a month and was never even offered a trial on it to see if I wanted to feed it more money than I already have.
Sync sucks, the radio sucks, the truck pretty much ****ing sucks as a whole. should have kept my 90k mile Saab, if that tells you anything about how I feel about this purchase.

Ha. My truck is *still* in the shop, and I told my dealer to make sure that all applicable updates were applied to the truck. Needless to say, I was told to check syncmyride.com and no help. If I wasn't screwed into this truck, I'd be running far far far away from Ford at this point.

After getting a letter from Ford, I downloaded the latest SYNC update for my '14 Platinum, took a 30 minute drive while it was updating and everything went smooth. I had to look in the SYNC folder to find the file to upload to Ford.
