Quick question. Is there any way for Sync to display the song name/artist when I'm playing music through the "Bluetooth Media Stream" ? I read somewhere that there maybe be an update I could get to enable the Sync system to display when this when i am streaming music via Bluetooth.

Gotta update it. My 2010 shows artist and song name. When I first got it, it didn't.

Do you have the touchscreen/nav or just the regular one?

I have just the regular one and with the new update it shows song name/artist from my phone through the Bluetooth.

Version 4.4 added that feature. However, it's being removed from accounts. After the release and installation, some customers experienced issues. Our engineers are currently working to get version 4.6 released.

Yeah i just tried to go see if i had an update, I do have one but when i try to download it, i get an error saying "Service Unavailable"

Mine shows song name and artist and has never been updated. But that's using my IPod plugged into the usb port.

Yeah it will show the song name/artist if plugged in via USB but Bluetooth it wont. I just spoke with a Sync rep and they said that they released an update and it got pulled because it caused issues. The new one should be out soon i hope! Mine hasn't been updated since 2010..

I've never played any music via bluetooth, wasn't sure if that was different or not. I'm glad I've never updated Sync since it works well for my needs and all the complaints that everyone has had with the the new version.
