I just installed Wagner bulbs. Impressed. 80% brighter with 120' farther beam distance. I posted them here. https://www.f150forum.com/f38/new-he...-bulbs-243658/

So, I couldn't find the Philips X-treme vision bulbs up here in Canada, so I bought them off of Ebay (yeah...I know...don't even start with me). Anyways, what was strange was that the same bulbs fit my wife's Challenger - so I ordered 2 sets as both her 2010 and my 2010 had stock bulbs in them. I didn't test hers, but she's not happy with them at all - says there's no difference between them and the stock 3 year old Philips's that were in there. For the F150, it had Sylvanias in them. I took the following pictures.
3 year old stock:
Supposedly brand new Philips X-treme vision
The old ones actually reach the far fence line. The new ones don't.
The truck wasn't moved.
Even the foreground seem brighter with the old ones (see the windmill and door to our hall).
What do you guys think?

I had the silverstars in my 2006 and they were much much better. I regret not getting the silverstars again ...If they go, I will go back to Silverstars for sure ....
Or maybe te headlight/reflector etc are not designed properly .. it spreads the light way too much in high beam and then no bulb will compensate for that ...

I'm loving my xtreme powers on mine. Been on for about a month and low beam and high beams def show an improvement.

The last two posts are encouraging. Wanna know what we pay for these in Canada? You're gonna laugh. Between $60 and $70

Update - the place I ordered them from saw the pics and agrees that they should be better. He's sending me another set. The ones I first received were an opened package - resealed with scotch tape.

I used the Pilllips X-Treme in the past. They are very bright, but they lasted about 12 months. Due to price (45$ a pair) and and their short life, I went back to stock bulbs. I'm done with headlight ''testing''.

It Stinks in Here...
Going to bring an old thread back up.
I seen today that Carquest has a $20 rebate on the Philips X-tremeVision bulbs so I had them order me a set. With the rebate, they will be $30. I figured I could give them a shot for that.
I used the SliverStar Ultras in my old truck for 7 of the 9 years I owned it and they were much better then stock on that truck, but I want to try some thing different this time around.
