Default SYLVANIA H7 SilverStar Ultra

Anyone has those lights? How do you like them? Last long? Bright and white enough? I'm looking for something more bright and white than stock. I don't want blue or purple halo.

Go with hoen, Putco or halo brand. All nice and bright.
The hoen's have an option on that will match the factory hid's.

+1 on the silverstar ultra. That used to be the only lights I would buy. Recently I have switched to the silverstar ZXE. They are even better than the ultras imo and seem to be pure white.

Default I just put in Phillips Crystal Visions

I have Sylvania bulbs in my 08 Mazda 3 and they have been Ok. Seems like the first set went bad fairly quick--maybe 10-12 months.

Yesterday I installed a set of Phillips Crystal Vision Ultra's in my 2013 SuperCrew. The bulb had a blue cap but the light is white. If you are in front of the truck with the lights on you can see a little hint of blue in the headlight bucket, but the light hitting the road is white. They are an improvement, but its not as much as I thought it might be. I don't like getting the "flash" from others when you are on low beams because they think you have the high beams on, so these will probably do the trick for me. Hopefully they last longer than the Sylvania's i put in my Mazda.

now need to do something to improve the weak backup lights!

Here is a good write up/review of bulb replacement for our headlights.

From what I've read, it doesn't see like you gain much of anything from upgrading the bulbs....although I'm still on the fence.

I was thinking about getting a set of these for my F150. I replaced the factory bulbs on my old Lincoln with a set of Silverstars and the difference was amazing. Great mod...
