blueovelboy - that only applies to nylon tires or old Polly tried tires I thought, don't think it will bother steel belted unless is directional and you don't fallow the direction of the tire.
As noted ... "Back in the old days the criss-cross method would/could also cause ply separation and/or cord damage."

Also applied to steel belted radials back in the old days.

Likely most here are too young to remember nylon tires;
Thump, thump, thump, thump thump...

Appears you've got "soldiers" in the bed ready to sell.

I'll be ordering mine soon (gotta get the new truck first)...
Thanks. I'm very happy I went with the BFG in 285 and no level, I prefer it to have the rake.

Yep, took the pic as soon as I got home, still had the stock wheels/tires in the bed. Less than only 11,700 miles on them, hope to find a buyer soon.

Looking forward to seeing your truck, I see you ordered S-cab, nice.

Ya, always liked the super cab over the 4 door, preference I guess.

Default Tire rotation

The shop I bought the BFGs today said they do not cross, they only do front and back swap same side. The guy said to stop by every 5k and they would rotate them for life of tires.

Maybe this has been asked already, but I'm planning on lifting my truck either 4 or 6 inches. I'd love to use the the the newer Raptor wheels with 35" tires. But does anybody make a lift kit that you can run 17" wheels with?

I have asked before, but then someone added this "very useful" post in the mod thread that really helped to answer my question about lifts with 17s
