Thanks.

So roughly another $300 for the sensors and nuts, that doesn't make the $500 for the set of wheels as exciting now lol.

EDIT: Can I just use the stock sensors and lugs?

You need TPMS sensors or you'll have a warning light on the dash all the time. You can move the ones from your stock wheels over to the new ones.

The lug nuts should be the same depending on your current wheels.

I used by OEM lug buts and TPMS sensors from my 18" wheels. No cost no problem. My 18" wheels and the truck had only 20K miles when I swapped

I have the stock 18s.

May be able to get a set for 500 locally which seems about the going rate on the raptor forums ... But it's Craig's list so always a crapshoot

Default Need opinions

I have 2013 XLT 4x4 Screw with the 5.0 I have plans on putting on the Camburg Fox Combo Trail Series 2.0 kit from TapAutoParts.com. I was also going to do an Add a Leaf in the rear.

http://shop.tapautoparts.com/procomp...i-1831902.aspx

I have a set of 2013 raptor wheels and was wondering what size I should wrap them with. I want BFG A/T's. Just not sure if I want 285/70R17 or the 315/70R17 that the raptors are running. Just would really like to know if I will need to trim or not. I already have a superchips VIVID so I can recalibrate the speedo. I've had the idea to got with the 315/70R17's and put a 1/4" spacer if I need to.

Please give me your 2 cents.

Thanks

i put 285 on my 2013 and there is no rubbing at all. a 315 without a spacer would rub. the 285's are only slightly larger than the 275/70/18 that came stock on mine so i didnt recalibrate.

here is mine

I don't think they can do it on a 2011+ but may be able to do it on a 2009-10 ?? On a 2011+ they can only choose from OEM available sizes, meaning what was available on your truck. If you don't have a Raptor, then Raptor size tires were not available on your truck from the factory. Therefore , they will not show up as a selectable size.
