I once had the Supersprings and I had problems. I know others had theirs work well and like them.

That's not my case. No matter what hole I had my brackets on, I rubbed something somewhere. And no matter what, they still held tension and stiffened my unloaded ride.

I eventually took them off and replaced with air bags. I love these things.

What truck do you have?

2014 f150
I saw other people rubbed with the ssa8 kit. But supersprings swapped out brackets for them from the ssa28 kit

Are you trying to lift the rear or just prevent some sagging when loaded?

Also interested in this. I assume if the superspring is lifting the truck it's also stiffening the suspension. Correct?

It's concept is that when installed, they do not noticeably affect the ride when unloaded. Once you add a load, they stiffen up as the weight is added.

I also got the new brackets and after a couple tries, I gave up.

Sadly, I still have mine in a box. Anyone interested?

Default Supersprings, hellwig or roadmaster

Why not go with air suspension?? I have it in my truck and I put 3000 Lbs in the back and when you crank up the psi I can still have it sit at unloaded hight. And it does not affect my unloaded ride at all because I have on board air so I drop the PSI and it's just like they are not there!

I installed Hellwig pro series silent helper springs on my truck a couple of weeks ago. I love them. Easy to install & i got them for $200 (Canadian Dollars) brand new, still in box cause the guy decided to go with airbags for what ever reason.

The ride is a little firmer in the rear end, not much, but noticeable. I dont think it gave me any lift, i did not buy them for a "lift" though, just wanted to be more stable when carrying a heavy load.
My only complaint about them is, they are a little noisy despite being "silent springs"...

My word of advice if you do go with the hellwig springs, put a piece of rubber (1/8"- 1/4") thick on the bottom of the U bolts (the flat bar) as what is happening is they are sliding slightly and making sound when going over harder bumpers. I have them as tight as the instructions say to do (2" of deflection) so i know they are tight as they should be but the bottom bar of the U bolt tends to slide a little. I have not done this myself, but though about it, after driving around for a couple of weeks the noise has calmed down cause they are settling is my assumption. If you put the rubber under the flat bar, that will stop them from sliding and also give it a little cushion.
