Default Air Lift Load Controller II mounting on EB

Just bought Firestone air bags and a Air Lift compressor. Has anyone mounted one of these compressors and if so where is the best place? Any help appreciated.

Exactly why I ordered the wireless system. Those controls r pretty big, no good place to mount it.

I saved this old thread because I hope to do this one day if I get an onboard compressor

That link had a great idea, but if you are in more northern climate then it might be better up and out of elements especially for winter. I to was contemplating one of the firestone systems and thought behind front grill or inside cab behind back seat. I know inside there would be more noise but only when compressor is running.

That is fair. Had an air compressor set up on my 03, it was mounted under the hood with no problems. Also the truck spent all its life in Ontario.Wasn't terribly noisey in the cab.

Thank you to all who posted replies. I think after reviewing I will end up putting it over the spare tire. I might try using a 4 channel remote I have to eliminate the switch but until I recieve the unit I dont know how big it will be. I would then only need to mount the gauge in the cab. Love this forum.

Just put mine above the spare tire. There is even a grounding point. Rock on!
