Theaxe, I wouldn't play the lotto this week cause you already broke the odds of winning finding 2 Scab 8'ers!! It's a great picture, it looks like they take up half the block! What I am going to like the most about mine when it gets here is that there are 1000's of F150's but like you said, how many are going to be like ours?

That is a sexy truck, mamonti, and a lot of it too! Very nice ride, I'm jealous. Be sure to check back in as you start driving this beast through town. I'm curious to hear what you have to say about driving it.

So is anyone else wishing they bough an 8 ft bed? I really thought 6.5 would be more than adequate for personal use but several times this past march I could have used an extra 1.5 ft.

1st post...Glad to be here
I bought mine a few months ago...Pain to park but wanted the extra length and the max trailer tow so we can buy a slide in camper this summer.Looking forward to it!!
I've only seen 1 Extended cab 8' box other than mine in my area (North Ontario)

You probably meant max payload (or HD payload package) because you can get the MaxTow with a short bed. In 2012 you can also get the HD payload in a SCrew with 6.5 box.

Yes a 163in WB must be a pain to park, I had a 157WB and couldn't dive it downtown...

Anyway, nice truck

Well after driving about 2000 miles in different parking conditions I have to say this truck is great and easy to handle! I had a Nissan Frontier Crew cab which was at least 3 feet shorter and the Fords turning radius is far better! I know this as leaving my brothers place was always a challenge getting out from. I would come inches from the guardrails with the Nissan and I now measure that in feet with the Ford!. Next comes parking (what many call the beast)! As easy if not better than the Nissan again! Of course as I have stated I went with the camera and sensors and they work perfectly! I have more confidence parking this Ford Scab 8'er than I have ever had with any other truck. I am trying to get my GF to drive it and see just how nice and easy this is but she is use to a compact car and thinks this thing is enormous! She was with me the other day when I had to park on the opposite side of the street in a tight parallel space in town and it was a piece of cake! So I would suggest you order yours and in no time you will agree I am sure! Remember to get it with the camera and sensors. As a matter of fact I have more problems seeing and judging things in the front of the truck and thinking about doing the camera and sensors there also! Now the only downside of parking is getting out! The doors on the Ford don't have a very good detent to hold the door from swinging open and they are pretty wide, along with that is the fully opening the rear door if you need to get people in. Many parking spaces present this problem for any vehicle, they are getting tight and are more suited for compact cars with small doors! I will be looking at adjusting or doing a mod to the detent but this is the only downside you will have to look out for! TBS I still look for the out of the way place to park it only since I don't want dings from other people opening their door.
