I wouldn't call someone who tries to force you to potentially damage your brand new truck a friend... More like an ex-friend.

Aren't you supposed to avoid getting your axle submerged?

I guess next time you won't be late.

Glad you made it through and put them in their place.

Yeah, don't you have to change the differential fluids now?

I thought that most of these trucks have the axle vent elevated with a tube to be just under the bed so you can go significantly deeper than up to the axle. Although, if he was covering the lower body panel stripe, that may have been deep enough to cover even the extended vent.

C'mon guys, give the OP a break!

Just like ns_redneck said, there are fun moments one can never forget, even if not funny at the time!
Yes, his buddies were a little off the hook, but that's called having fun. At the end no one would have a serious problem there, I think, and there was plenty of support to take any car stuck out.
Nothing dangerous I understand!

Thanks for the story OP. I have a truck just like yours and my neighbour has a nice lawn front that gets all muddy when the snow melts just like the path you where in to.... I'm having a vision!

Could have been much worse. You could have been pulled out by a JEEP or two! I got my 2WD Tundra stuck once and was pulled out by a Jeep Wrangler.
