Super Proud of My Truck! Little Story...
So this morning my friends and I decided to go play in the mud since it was the first rain of the year here in AZ. I took my 13' SCab F150 5.0 4X4. My buddies had a 00' F150 4.8L 4X4 with a 6" lift, a 00' Silverado 5.3L 4X4, and a 98' Silverado 5.7L 4x4 on 22"s and street tires.
So naturally I show up late and they dcide to tell me that they had hit this hole and I had too. I immediately called B.S. but they proceeded to call me names and hassle me so I gave in and was bound to show them up. This hole was 8' wide and about 25' long. (Unknown depth at the time.) So i get a good run up in 4 high, and I sail through the first half no problem. The second half I start to crawl, (meanwhile realizing this is the stupidest thing I could have done in my 10 month old truck), I crank the wheel back and forth and slowly but surely crawl right out.
After a few words with my "friends" they proceed to tell me that the only one of my buddies that attempted it was the f150 with a 6" lift and it was up to his bumpers. They then tell me that the water was covering up my silver stripe of the two tone paint. But she made it! After a 2 hour rinse off and a good thorough check of the engine bay, all was good. I will put my truck through anything like that again. But on the bright side they were left with their jaws wide open that my stock 4x4 made it.
OH and BTW I pulled the 00' Silverado 20 or so miles home.
And yes it was stupid and Idiotic but you only live once.

If you want to be stupid with your own money, who are we to judge?

Just jealous is all they are. A true friend would never ask you to f-up your new truck.
The 20 yr old in me wants to do a doughnut and spray dirt all over them and find some new friends.

Still a good story and it's what they get for owning a POS Chevy. We definitely did get a good amount of rain, took the FJ and my F150 out for a little fun in the mud.

Rock on in AZ! The first thought I had after the rain was over was to take my Mom's car mudding! Well, she has a '14 Subaru Forester. I mean, come on, don't think I'm taking my 2WD truck off road! I wouldn't live that down. I'm the guy who got stuck off-road in his '08 CR-V... two days before Christmas. I have to be careful and pre-plan my trips.
