+1 super cab.

Just my bride and I. The cab is huge compared to when I had my 98 regular cab.
I prefer the look! My 6.5' bed is plenty of space for groceries, computer , camping gear, folding chairs, etc.yes I have a tonneau.
Guitar rides up front though.

Plenty of room for our dog.

Granted, there is a dance if parked next to other cars and you need access to the rear seats.

I however park far out in lots so that is rare.

Simply put, my truck is set up exactly the way I like. I love it!

I paid 30,500 for a crew XLT 4x4 302a 6.5 Eco max tow last fall new. Wait till fall

Thats the plan, just not a bells and whistles/chrome guy so I wanted the STX. Looks like the main complaint is the two door dance. So it basically comes down to sacrificing bed space for easier cab access.....

I bought mine used for around that price range. It was a year old with 13,000 miles when I bought it. Of course it was a couple of hours away from me as the local dealers didn't have what I wanted.

I purposely bought a scab with buckets so people would not want to "squeeze into" the back seat. I got plenty of room to stash stuff and I park out in truckland so the door dance isn't an issue. I am not lying- the rear seats have not been down since I bought the truck! Just the way I like it!

I just struggle with the thought of a 4 door truck. Now this is just my opinion and works for me specifically but if I wanted a 4 door vehicle (truck type), I'd just by an SUV and problem solved. I just like the look of the supercab way more than the crewcab.

The STX comes in screw now, that may be an option.

I bought used and while my first choice would have been a screw with a 6.5 Bed, they were hard to come by at the price/condition I wanted. I went with a Scab, sometimes I regret it, but not that often. I personally think the 5.5 box reduces the truck to 'toy' status, but that's just me. I use the big bed often. I don't do the door dance in parking lots because i simply put my bags and stuff in the back under the cover. I have the kids get out of the truck before I park it in the two car garage. Just a matter of strategy sometimes.

Yeah I saw that, can you get one with the 6.5' bed?

Not sure but I also live the STX as that is what I have, no carpet is great especially with kids and dogs! Still have power locks and windows and added the stuff I wanted.
