Default Super 40 to a super 10

So far I have a true dual super 40 flow master on and I love the deep tone but I am wanting deeper and louder. What's yalls opinion on switching to the super 10? Would it make much of a difference? is it worth it? Thanks.

From the you-tube vids I've seen yeah. They look short so they can't muffle much.

Not sure about your truck, but my daughters boyfriend has super 10's on his RAM hemi, and that thing sounds like he is running open headers. It's too dang loud. If loud is what you want super 10's is the way to go, no way I could drive his truck everyday.

Well I don't want to be obnoxious to other people. Would taking the resonator off make a significant difference?

Yes, removing the resonator makes a big difference. Go that route before replacing your muffler.

So I got a real good deal on the super 10 with my true duals so I went with that. Sounds a lot better than my 40s. no drone whatsoever and much deeper. There is a little popping every so often but I can live with that. All in all I recommend this setup: ARH Longtube headers - true dual super 10.

As long as you're happy with it that's all that matters.
