Sunroof Issue- Button Issue?
Hello,
First off, Hello! I've owned this truck since Nov. '14 and it's been a great upgrade to my previous 2001 f150 XL.
Now, I've been having sunroof issues for a couple of months now. First the track components broke. They were definitely broken and I've since replaced them. Unfortunately, I'm still having problems.
Replaced the motor as I made a mistake while trying to close it the first time by using a drill with the correct allen head to close the sunroof. This broke the gearing inside the drive.
Now the problem is the new motor runs perfectly but only one way. The sunroof will open but will not close. I've run it out of the sunroof assembly and it isn't even trying to turn (as if it were closing the sunroof).
Is there anyone out there that has come across this issue before? I have a feeling it's the button assembly. I plan on trying to clean the connections when I get a chance as I saw that that could be an issue. Any help would be great.
