I'm interested in doing this as well

Why not? The Only issue you might run in to is in the number of switches across you can fit into the sunglass holder lid. And of course, you won't be able to put any sunglasses in there once the switches are installed You will also STILL have to R&R the entire assembly for access to run the wire leads over to the A-Pillar.

Carlings carries a 3-switch and a 6 switch solid bezel. They also make individual switch mounts that you can lock together as many across as you want/need. Check out www.otrattw.com for a huge selection of switches and options. They will also custom make you any switch covers (novelty, etc.) that you can dream up.

It's a great look and a great idea. However I'm going to go with putting three or four switches across The dash from the dimmer switch on my F150. If I made a mistake on that headboard the expense is great compared to the one piece of panel to replace on the dashboard. Also the connection to tap in on the dimmer switch is a lot easier since it's right there for the LED rocker switches allowing them to illuminate when you turn on your lights. Just my humble opinion and it's just easier for me.

Default Sunglasses Holder Upfitter Panel Idea

I don't think anyone is manufacturing a ready to go setup for that useless storage to the right of the radio. Nothing fits in there, or it rolls side to side and bugs the hell out of me.
A couple or three switches there, like I've seen guys do, is really what I want.
I'm sticking with this thread topic right now tho.

Speaking from experience, make sure you pull the trim panel and look behind it for clearance. I drilled a hole for a switch and there was no room behind trim panel for switch. $54 mistake.....Damn

I saw a YouTube video with my vehicle a 2013 F150 and they were installing rear back up lights with Starkey wiring harness and switch. He remove the panel nearest the dimmer switch used a Dremel and it fit perfect. probably good for at least three switches but it might be tight for 4 switches. And if I did make a mistake of $54 its a lot better than the price of a headliner. Thanks for the heads up now I know how much that panel cost. Waiting for the switches from eBay I got 2 five pin LED illuminated Carling switches. And I have two harnesses from Rigid industries. If these wire out with no issues than I have two more switches to install and I'll be done. Thanks again.
