The A.R.E. is the best built bed cover I've seen.

My '07 XLT Screw with an A.R.E. bed cover. The edges of the tonneau cover over-laps the sides of the bed.
My dad has the ARE on his Tundra. It leaks quite a bit of water and I've been less then impressed with it. It doesn't open far enough and is generally a pain in the butt. I'll either get a folding style cover or go without. I also was amazed with how much view you loose behind the truck with the ARE, very surprising.

A.R.E. LSX and the bed stays dry even thru the car wash and
if I do sell the truck I would buy another for the next truck. $1000
installed with bed light and remote lock.

i just got a bakflip g2 for 664 with shipping. from bakflip direct. they sent me some weather seal and i put it around the tailgate cause that was the only place i could think of to seal. i did not test without the weather seal but, with it no water leak. i went through carwash and my tools were dry.

If it were me, id be more concerned about security when I was on the road. you never know they type of ppl that might be in an area that you decide to spend the night, and all those "cloth" covers can easily be cut into, and can really ruin a nice trip. You might want to look at a Line-X'd diamond back cover. You can get a regular one for a little over $1000.

I got a bakflip f1 for around 800 from autoanything, you can prob get the g2 for a good price if you wait for a 15% off sale.

I just put mine on and have some leaking issues, but I prob just need to readjust it a bit

Bakflip F1 here. $800 or so on sale and no issues.

Their tool box was another issue but that was fixed with some more Velcro strips.

What exactly were the issues you experienced with the BAKBox?

I have my new F1 and BAKBox sitting in the housing waiting for my truck to get out of the body shop so would like to hear of any comments to help installing them.

Where are you guys getting the bakflip F1's for $800 for? Talked to Auto Anything, they have 10% off right now and swear that they don't offer 15% off their bakflips or extang covers.

I'd be rather happy to find a 15+% off deal. I'm torn between the Bakflip G2 and the Extang Solid Fold; my decision will probably come down to best price. I like how the Bakflip sits flat with the bed however I also prefer how much more secure the extang is (from what I've read, no first hand experience).

Well, I must really be a cheap *** then; I've found the G2 for $645 shipped and the Solid Fold for $690 shipped but I still want to pay less!
