Stx owners, are you happy?

I love my STX! Has everything I wanted in a truck for the price paid. I got it with over $10K in rebates. So my cost out the door was around $25K. I love the vinyl floors to hose off when it gets muddy. It has all the basics I wanted in a truck (4x4, auto trans, fog lights, AM/FM/Sat/CD/Sync, Bluetooth, MP3 connection, tow package, V8 power, super cab, vinyl floors). Aftermarket--tinted window, under rear seat storage, LED's all around, tonneau cover, hidden winch behind grille, HID aux driving lights, CB, hidden safe, alarm, FX tail lights, bed mat, slide in camper. I'm VERY happy with my purchase. The XLT's aren't a lot more and many folks choose that route. But I chose the STX because of the rebates at the time. Good luck!

Just picked my new STX up two days ago! Couldn't be any happier. About $27,000 out the door with rebates and discounts. It has the Sport package upgrade but had them swap out from the 20s to the 18in wheels. Loving my new truck!!!!

I bought an 2-13 STX Scab because it's a work truck and I wanted the vinyl flooring. The only thing I wish I had was the xlt instument cluster because I'd like to have the info center. Some of the things I wish I had, (but are not standard on either truck are: 3.73 LS, b/u camera, nav, trailer brake controller, tow mirrors. I was on a lot the other day rubbernecking the leftover 14's. You can get an XLT for the same price as an STX. Makes the choice a little tougher.

If I had wanted an XLT I'd have bought one. I am not a fan of chrome or a screw cab. All the XLT's I see around here are screws with 5.5 bed. The bed would not work for me so really getting an XLT was not an option I considered. I like the look of the scab way more as well. Had to have the 6.5 bed for the toolbox to fit as well as leave room to haul the tractor or four wheeler.
I upgraded from a 2013 2wd 3.7 regular cab to a STX Sport 4x4 5.0 scab. It is an awesome truck. The dark interior is a huge upgrade from the pasty gray the old had. Old truck had vinyl floor which I thought I 'd love but in two years it was scuffed up and worn looking. The new one has the black carpet which really gives it a more finished look.
I added Maxliner floor mats up front and they look awesome and do a great job of containing dirt and winter time slop.
The best part as far as creature comforts go is that is has a console not the jump seat. the XLT's I see have a jump seat. The console is so much nicer.
So saying I am happy with the STX is almost an understatement. I have had this truck for two months now and I have yet to see a nicer looking truck on the road around Knoxville.
here is a crappy cell phone pic of it

Love my 13 stx 4x4 supercab. I love the rubber floor and have had it on this one and the prior 2010. I have power windows and doors and a decent steroids with cloth seats. It ce with the 5.0 and trailer tow package. I added the TBC and my gooseneck hitch. The stx is a great way to get a high payload without going HD payload. Mine is 1750 with the 7350 gvwr. The truck works good for what I do and how I use it.

if the question is a non-sport STX vs an XLT then I would get the XLT. the whole point of the stx is the looks. the sport in my opinion is much better looking than any option available on the XLT but if you're after features the stx is little more than a pretty XL.

Love my 2013 STX SCab. I put swapped in the center console, put on the HD/FX head and tail lights, leather seat covers and have the 5.0 with the 3.55 LSD rear end. I got mine new off the lot for 24500 with window tint, wheel locks, and spray in bed liner. I also had carpet in mine but I put in full rubber mats so might as well been the vinyl floors. With sync/bluetooth I think it was a great package for the price. Roomy, comfortable, sporty, and practical all in one package.

I just picked up a '14 STX SCrew in the Sunset finish like the OP has now, and am very happy. Looked hard at an FX4, which are very nice, but couldn't justify the jump in price right now. It has carpet, which I preferred, but did drive around the corner from the dealership to an accessory place and put in WeatherTech all around. The kids love the room now having stepped up from a SCab. Very happy as an STX owner.
