Hey everyone,

I am looking at getting a 2014 STX screw with the 5.0, I really like the truck and the color (sunset) so am just curious if anyone has regretted getting an STX instead of XLT? Also what's your favorite part about your STX? Thanks!

I didn't really have a choice to get an other than my stx cause it's my first truck but I love mine! Other than the pain of reaching over to unlock door/roll down window, I don't mind at all! I love my truck

Get an XLT - not a huge jump in price-some SCREW STX trucks are actually more than an XLT

I have a 2013 STX and its my favorite truck so far. The thing I like best is the colored to match bumpers and wheels,and the overall look. They look like the fx4 without paying a ton extra. I like the chrome on the xlt but not for me. I like that you don't have to pay for all the extras. But I say get the one you like best your the one that has to pay the payment.

The fx4 and STX can look similar. Big difference is obviously the interior.

But I know a few people plenty happy with STX, with the occasional wish that they had a similar interior to mine

I really like my 13 STX, came from a 99 xlt, but really miss a compass.

I really like my STX. I bought it used but it came with bucket seats and center console which I really wanted. I have no regrets with going STX over XLT. I did the PTM handles and mirrors to make it look more like an FX4. Obviously still lacks a lot of FX4 stuff, especially the interior, but it still is pretty nice. The only thing that would have been nice is the bigger motor, but the new ones have the 5.0 so it is a moot point now.

If you are going to customize it a lot, I think STX is a good place to start. It is a blank slate and you can make it what you want. I have really enjoyed adding stuff and upgrading the truck to my own taste.

I got an STX due to the price, mine has the 5.0, carpet, sync, power everything, i am going to have katskin leather put in, already added a tonneau, tinted windows, leveling kit and 20 inch wheels off of an FX4 and I still have under 30k in a new truck. I am very happy with it.

I really like the 2014 STX where you can get a Super Crew and the Sport Package is worth every dime. Just wish you could get a 157" WB.

I love my STX. Although mine has been modified a fair bit to my liking but its a good truck for the price!
