To each there own I guess but why pay for 4wd and then lower it? At the very least put a level kit on it and keep the stance of a 4wd since you paid for it.

Just my two cents:
Removing the rear block is way easier than buying and replacing the rear shackles. If you are a stickler replace your u-bolts. just remember that if you use your truck as a truck, hauling crap in your bed. Your truck will be nose high when loaded. And it looks douchie when a truck with its *** scrapping the ground hauling 400 lbs.
But what do I know? I say lift it and get it dirty and stuck in the mud...
