Stuck on weep hole decision...
Truck has a shudder sometimes and poor idle.. been debating doing the weep hole. My main concern is it leaking on my driveway and if I should really do it.. I want to keep the truck for a long time. I might do the catch can as well later but for now I am wondering about doing the weep hole. If I decide to block it off can't a screw be inserted to seal it back off?

It will drain water and oil mix. Yes it will leave drips on your driveway. Yes it will leave an oily residue on your plastic air dam.
Its a driveway. Oil and gunk get on it. Its not like its leaving a quart or two. It only leaves a spot on my concrete if I drive it long distances. Daily driving it doesn't do it. The benefits outweigh that. You can clean it up with soapy hot water.
I work with a guy who freaks out when a drip of oil gets on his driveway. Even if your tires make marks due to turning. Thats just ridiculous. I got more important things to worry about.
Drill the hole and replace your plugs with ford plugs gaped at .030.

I should add that inserting a screw back into the hole is a dumb idea. You want the intercooler to naturally evac the condensation. Putting a screw in there will allow it to build up and potentially cause the consumption into the motor like it is now. Leave it open.

Knowing I wont be staining my driveway is all I needed to know. I'm surprised drilling into the CAC is an easy decision for anyone. I just got this truck so forgive me for being apprehensive on drilling into it.

Just do it in the right location and you will be fine. You might get some condensation to come out right away, you may get nothing. Every truck is different.

Just buy an aftermarket CAC. Your wallet will be $1000 lighter but at least you won't have to drill the hole.
