Streaks on the door

Looks like you're in Indiana? My best guess would be salt residue in the door handle seam that dissolves when it gets wet again and leaves the deposit.
Taste it?
I have a Tuxedo Black truck and I always have to go out a few hours after washing and drying to spot detail where the drips occur. Usually its the door handles, F-150 emblems, mirrors where they meet the door and sometimes door window gaskets at the low spot or ends where they meet the door sheet metal...

Possible, our city here uses a brine juice instead of salt so I guess it could be that.
I still don't think while it's raining when I open and close my back door that water squirts out the front door handle but I will lick my truck and test it

It isn't salt related. Mine does it too. We don't get salted much here. It is dome kind of lubricant or sealant from the handle.

No issues here, but the water that drips down from the crease between the bottom of the mirror housing and the door drives me up the goddamn wall.

I drove past my local lot today and seen a couple of new trucks with these streaks though not to the extent of mine. Looked pretty closely at the worst one and it as well had these little gasket looking pieces hanging from the underside just like mine.
