Straight pipes sound like sh*t. I Think you look like an idiot rolling around with straight pipes, if you do get a big whip antennae and some truck nutz. Then it's way cool...

Alright. So this morning I recorded a video on my commute to work.
It includes idle. Acceleration to Highway speeds. Cruising. And full throttle acceleration. All from the drivers seat. I tried full throttle with the windows down, but the wind noise seems to have interfered with the microphone.

Excuse the dirty truck. I haven't had a chance to wash her in a few days, and we just started warming back up above zero.

Alright. It took me a few edits, but the video is now embedding the way that it should.
Excuse the fumbling with that. It's my first video I've uploaded to Youtube.

And I decided I really have a Muffler Delete. Not a straight pipe. After all Stock an F150's exhaust is configured like this:

Engine ----> Catalytic Conv. ----> Resonator ----> Muffler ----> Tip

Mine is now in this configuration:

Engine ----> Catalytic Conv. ----> Resonator ------------------> Tip

Yea I was definitely thinking just getting rid of the muffler and leaving the resonator and cats so it wouldn't be too loud, I'm not sure I might try it because I do love the tone of it from the videos I've watched.
Also is it easily reversible? it seems like it should be

If you keep the stock muffler stored somewhere, then yes it is easily reversible. I have a very small garage, so I just chucked my stock muffler.

No problem. At the end of the video I get out and try to show the end of the custom exhaust piping under the truck. and you can hear it at idel outside the truck. I bumped the off button during recording though, so it cuts off with just a couple of seconds of under truck video

I just got the SIDO 40 series and absolutely love the way it makes the 5.0 sound. It sounds awesome both in the city and not to much drone on the highway. Got custom bent pipes and installed for 450. Not a bad price overall.
