Default storm in texas $800 worth of damage

We had some large hail in the DFW area recently.

I have had my truck for just over a week and already have $800 worth of damage.

I was at love field when the tornado/hail storm passed. I got nine dents. Just gonna try to pop them out myself. Other courier drivers told me I could use a heat gun and dry ice to pop them out.

i feel you. I live here in Austin down 35. When i bought my truck 3 week ago - i was having panic attacks that it wouldn't fit in my garage. I was out there measuring every last inch. Fortunately - i can back it in and have about 2 inches of clearance front and back. It's not something i want to do every day - but man does it give me some peace of mind when the weather radio starts going off.

Unhappy you're not alone

I too was hit by hail last week... haven't had the damage estimated yet. There is only one really bad ding and thankfully it is on the roof. There are about a handfull of minor(hard to see) dings on the hood.

Still cant beleive it though, I had my '05 SCAB for 5 yrs and not one hail ding. Had this truck for 5 months...just my luck I suppose. lol

Wow guys, that 100% sucks. If I saw my truck being bashed with hailstones, I would surely cry for a little while. Then I would cry some more when I received the bill for the fix. Mother nature is a harsh woman sometimes.
