Default Stone chips & mud flaps

I have a 2 month old 2010 FX4 SCREW. I have the 20" wheels and had the factory mudflaps installed. I just noticed they are too short and the leading front edge of my rear bumper is already starting to rust from the stone chips on my gravel road. Is anyone else having this issue? I think these flaps were made for the 18" or smaller wheels and weren't intended for the 20" option. Any suggestions on how I can get Ford to # 1: fix the problem & # 2: put bigger flaps on?

I know what your saying..the Ford OEM flares were great for my 255/70/17's but I went bigger and they don't cover crap..

I have them on my Screw with the 18" rims. I would like them to stick out about another half inch or so. They kind of curve in a little.

Not to ruin anything, but doesnt it depend on the overall diameter size of the tire, not the rim... Or is it the rim width that yall are referring to? Because I just realized that might be it and I could look like an idiot and here I am now.... I didnt wanna backspace anything lol

In my case it's a combination of wider tires and the -11 offset wheels which push the wider tire out more from the truck as seen below...obvioulsy ford mud flaps are pointless when you go with a negative offset wheel..enjoy a good laugh haha..

I would recommend the Husky liner flaps as they provide more coverage than the Ford flaps. They are molded to fit the body well and have options for factory flares or not. I even installed them on my Bushwacker Extend a fender flares. They are a little tough to see on my black truck, but here are a couple of shots of them on my truck.

As soon as I get those flairs installed this week (hopefully) I am buying those flaps. That looks really good DeereGeff!
