I have 305's wondering if the 1.25" will be too much.. thoughts ?

My tires are 275/60/20.

I don't think 1.25 would be too much for 305s. I think it'd give you a great stance. I'm happy with 1.25, but even 1.5 would have been ok for 275s.

I have the same truck and am awaiting those spacers in the mail, looks awesome! I was thinking about taking my steps off but it looks like the wheels line up perfectly with them!

stock wheels, stock width tires and 1.25" spacers make my tires line up perfectly w/ the factory steps - which to me is the perfect spacing/stance width.

I don't have a perfectly head-on shot to show it, but you can see pretty well here how it lines things up:
