Default Stock wheels with lift?

I have a 2012 FX4, I'd like to order my 6in lift but I am not sure on what to do about tires at this point. Has anyone done a 6in and left the stock wheels on? Can it be done? I have 35" tires on the wheels now.

If the wheel's have the proper width and backspacing per the manufacturer's specs to clear the front suspension component's.

I was looking at the Rough Country lift. I plan on getting new wheels but one upgrade at a time.
