I swapped out the stock headlights with Sylvania Silverstar Ultra's tonight. I shot some pictures after replacing just one bulb. See if you can tell which one:

Low beams

High beams

So, uh, to you guys who said these lights were night and day different, I think I might disagree. In case you are wondering, I replaced the driver side bulb in these pictures.

I replaced both my headlights and foglight bulbs with PIAA Extreme White 4000K bulbs. I find them way brighter then stock bulbs especially when using high beams. It's a cheap upgrade but well worth it. I also have KC Slimlite Long Range Offroad lights 130 watts for when there are no vehicles in site. I tried HID lights before all this and sure they were much brighter but they were a nightmare for troubles so I took them out and will never buy another set of HID's again

I recently had the chance to drive a 2012 Laramie for a two week period. After that the lights in my F-150 didn't seem that bad! But I did tinker with the aiming on my lights and that helped. Plus I have Rigid Dually floods. Might look into some PIAA's or something.

I did PIAA as well, Extreme and it is like night and day my stock looked yellow beside these...I should have taken pics, and so I had to change the Fog bulbs as well cause it was sooooooooo much difference.

I did the same and agree. The low beams might be a tad brighter, but the high beams just suck period, regardless of bulb. I like a high beam that works along with the low-beam. With the F-150 you don't get both.

I'm planning on HID lows and fogs + 2 lights mounted on a bull bar. Hella's or lightforce probably.

I just dropped my truck off to have my headlights and fog lights swapped out for HID's.

Default Headlights

Hey, Has anyone bought anything off of ProTuningLab.com? If so how was your experience? I am thinking of buying projector headlights with HID's for my 99' f150 off of that site.

I'm surprised to see how many people are saying Silverstars are great. I've tried them in several different Fords at work and they were all junk. Basically no improvement I found.
