Default 2013 5.0 electrical issue

I’m hoping for a little guidance on my first FORD Vehicle ever. But I’m not so happy at the moment because I can’t figure out what’s going on here. This has been an intermittent issue the last 6 months but this week has been the worst by far. Seems like more humid or wet weather it may happen more frequently. Everything will work sometime I get in like it never happened and everything is perfect. I have only had this truck for a year. Truck runs great. When the problem happens I will open the driver door and no dash display with mileage or dash lighting. I can start and drive the truck fine but I have no dash lights or radio or climate control. The climate control seems to default to high heat defrost and heat to leg area. Now the weird part. I can manually turn on my radio with the power button and it will play but I then will have to turn it off manually once the engine is off. Now a new issue popped up just tonight and the climate control and radio button lights come on and stay on until I remove negative wire off the battery. What would you all recommend. I have checked fuses and such. Sorry for the long post.

Check all grounds to be sure they are secure. Check all of the connectors in the passenger footwell area and behind the glovebox to be sure they are secure (reseat them).

Also awhile back I noticed once in a while if I were to wiggle the key in the ignition sometimes that helped but no such luck now. Could it be something in the ignition?

Yes, bad ignition switch could cause things like this. When you unhooked the battery, did you leave it unhooked for 15 minutes? A reset could possibly help.

Yes I left neg off for 30 plus minutes but didn’t help me today. Most likely will get in the truck in the morning and it will be fine for a few days. I’ve read on other thread something about a park position switch or something also which could case this. I did have my battery run dead one time and I used the jump pack to get it started last spring but that only happened one time. I’m assuming the whole dash was on and radio possibly back when that happened. Thanks guys.
