Well, the bedliner will have the same pigments including the metallic flakes as the factory's paint code formula. It doesn't get any closer than that.

What "brand" of bedliner? The places I have talked to couldnt get that close, and since the bumper meets right up with the fenders I didnt want it to be off color and then look like crap.

Crap, that would also mean I would have to have my steps re-sprayed too so they didnt stick out since they are bedlined black.......but I guess if you want to it to look nice you gotta pay the price.

Here's my powder coated bumper, also have the rear bumper same powder color. It's called dark grey metallic , it's obviously not a perfect match, I took a leap of faith and I actually really like the way it turned out. Really makes the bumpers stand out and in different lighting or from a little distance it actually looks the same

I looked into this too Wes when I was ordering my ADD bumper. All the shops near me pretty said the same thing; have to pick from a limited selection that they could provide. So I looked at the samples like you did and could not find one close enough so decided to go with the ADD colors (Hammer Black and Satin Black). I think those colors work well with the Sterling Grey and black trim. Hope you find something close to the factory color as I do think it would look killer!

I've been looking for a long time now, tried a handful of shops and have yet found one that matches close enough for me. IMO it needs to either match or be an off setting color. Something just slightly off doesn't look right. Particularly when it covers such a large area and is flush/close against the rest of the body. Smaller parts and parts that are separated from the factory color could potentially get away with it.

Even though I am out of the F150 game, stumbled on this site as I am running a small powdercoat business. Figured I would share it for anyone searching in the future.
