Default Sterling Grey Metallic Plasti-Dip! (Photos)

Ok, its not actually Sterling Grey Metallic, but its pretty dang close. Decided to give the new Anthracite True Metal Plast-Dip a try from dipyourcar.com. Wow, its a close match.

I did the mirror caps and the grille. Below are some detail shots:

3 heavy coats of Anthracite True Metallic + 1 heavy coat of Glossifier

I did the grille and both mirrors with 2 cans of the dip and 1 can of glossifier. They are roughly 7 dollars a can plus shipping.

Me too! I was so skeptical, it looked great when finished last night but I figured there was no way it would look that great in broad daylight. Its remarkably close, just not as much shine as the paint but its only noticeable on close inspection.

Thank you! I hope other members will give it a shot. Its probably one of the best finishes I've seen from Plasti-Dip. Very well done.
