Default Always love A Break-in.....

Last Thursday I am interrupted at lunch to be informed someone broke into my truck. So I rush home to find the rear pass window knocked out and my manual is stolen and some other small stuff. Well what really pissed me off is the several Panther players live where I live( bentley, rover, Mercedes, etc.) and they get me.

Well as tough as it is to get my truck in the garage, I did it, removing everything I have allowing 3 inches per end. Decided to plasti dip the emblems, reflectors and handles on toolbox.

Adjuster coming by tomorrow and hopefully will cut me a check for the damages so I can plan my next mod. Maybe a bumper....enjoy

Sorry to hear the bad news! its never a good day when a truck gets broken into.

What gets me is why they didn't bother with your toolbox, it seems very strange. Generally speaking, the toolbox (and the contents inside) are usually the first thing thieves go for.

At least nothing severely important was taken.Hopefully you get some cash for the next mod!!! lol good way to look at the situation!!

I hate a crook. They should be flogged, then drawn and quartered.

Btw, I know where the Panthers live. Just past Northwest Cabarrus HS. So, that means we're in the same town. If you catch 'em, call me. The flogging can then begin.

Glad they caught him. Maybe he took the manual so he would have something to read in jail

My manual has the key pad code in it, that may be why he took it..

Well I don't know why he took it but hopefully it was same person who got caught.

My question now is should I get insurance to re-key my truck and toolbox? The rear bumper somehow is dented and scuffed so hoping as well they cover that

Update:

Adjuster came by and wrote me an estimate for around $950. Question is : do I buy the next mod or put into savings, or fix such a small appearance issue. The rear bumper was hit and scuffed as well but no picture
