I agree with DW66 that it seems to get worse the longer I drive. This may seem strange, but it also seems much worse when it's hot outside. I think that may be why I'm just starting to notice it more. I just took the family on a 300 mile trip this weekend and it drove me crazy on rough sections of highway. Although, I'm the only one in the truck that notices it since the rattle seems to only be felt through the steering wheel.

Warmer temps seem like a good bet. I never noticed it in the winter. Soon as it got warmer out is when I noticed it but the truck just now turned 3000 so, that could be coincidental.
Towed the camper this past weekend, seemed to get worse the longer I drove. I just can't get past this having to do with the electric power steering. I just keep thinking it is over compensating when we are going straight. Like it's constantly "hunting".

I have a 2011 Screw Lariat with the same same steering symptoms. The truck has 1400 miles on it. Has anybody been able to determine what the issue is or had anything fixed by the stealership?

"FYI, On the 2011 f-150, you must disconnect the battery before installing the leveling kit or you will damage your electronic steering. I learned this the hard way. When knocking off the ball joints, It shocks the electrical components on the steering which results in a clunking noise over speed bumps and pot holes at low speeds which is extremely annoying. There is also a clunking that is felt through the steering wheel. So if anyone plans on installing a leveling kit on a 2011 f-150, Disconnect the battery before starting the work to save yourself this problem. I haven't had mine repaired yet, so I don't know the cost of repairs yet. I sure it isn't going to be cheap though!!!"
Anyone know if there's any truth to this?

OK kinda weird.
After feeling this from 600 miles to 3000 miles, it is almost completely gone.
It was VERY prominent from 2500-3000 then it all but stopped. I can barely feel it and nowhere near as often.
Only thing that chaged is, it went from 90 degrees and humid to 70 degrees. Supposed to get hot again in a few days, see what happens then.
SOOOO, either it "fixed" itself or it is heat related like some have said.
