Custom EB engine covers? Show 'em!
Im thinking of painting/customizing my engine cover. If anyone has done it, which I'm sure you have, please post pictures here.

Thanks! No, but I gave the silver one away to a friend. Doing this is definitely a labor of love. I could never charge what my time was worth and make a sale. Also, I used factory coded PPG paints. (prices not for the faint-of-heart)

Would you mind if I “borrowed “ ideas from some of your designs? Probably not going to go very fancy, just want to dress it up a little bit.

Just noticed you are from the Bay Area. We moved to Tennessee 4 Year’s ago from Concord ( Contra Costa County).

I'm talking about the price of the paints. A single spray can of OEM paint is $28. (2- base color and clear coat) Each 3oz bottle of "brush-on" touch up OEM paint is $14 (x number of different colors). Then you need to use a good quality (SEM, e.g.) plastic adhesion promoter ($12). Then you need to clean clean clean every inch at least twice with denatured alcohol. And do the corners of all the ribs/high ridges 3 times. So you're going to be into it for more than $100.
Mike from TN: I'm right next door to Concord. Liking TN?
BoostedGreyGoose: If money is no object (because my time is...), then I'll do it for $1,000... (duckin-n-runnin...)
I *never* bid a job to get it

Yup! We are lovin’ Tennessee. Rented a house for 2 years while we looked for the perfect spot to buy. Got a 1900 sq ft 8 year old home on 10 acres of very huntable land. If I told you how much, you’d be on the next plane here ,we lived just off David Ave along the BART tracks.
