Squeak at low speed, goes away once moving for a while
Looking for some help: 2014 F150 SCREW STX, 22,xxx miles
When I get in my truck to start driving after sitting (for a given period of time in which everything would cool down), I get a squeaking noise that is rotational (squeaks more as I go faster).
The sound goes away once I've driven for a few hundred feet and does not come back until the truck sits again.
The sounds does not go away by hitting the brakes.
Someone said U-joints. I don't appear to have any play in the driveshaft.
I haven't really had a chance to pull the wheels and see if I can see anything in there. My guess is I have a small rock or some corrosion that is causing it but I can't figure out why the noise would stop and stay away once I've driven for a little.
Anyone had any similar problems with their truck or have any ideas where to start?

That sounds pretty textbook for a U-joint.

It doesn't have to.

I dont see how it could be the pads or rotors if hitting the brake doesn't change it.
Sounds exactly like a u joint or carrier bearing on driveshaft. I had an F350 that did the same exact thing. Ended up replacing u joints & bearing.

I never thought about a center support bearing on the driveshaft because both 150's in our household have one piece shafts, but its a likely candidate assuming you have a two piece shaft. Another giveaway for a failing u-joint is a ping or a pop when alternating from drive to reverse. What does the squeak sound like? U-joints have a pretty distinctive sound. They go "Weeky weeky weeky". I know that probably looks kind of goofy in print, but thats the best way I can describe it.
