My custom tunes removed the throttle lag so I would not need this.

My acceleration definitely increased but there's still some lag, not a big deal though - much better than stock already. I was more curious about the product than considering buying one.

Some vehicles have a huge DBW lag. Personally, the F150 is not bad at all.
Some feel like there is a second or two after stepping on the gas before there is any response from the engine. This removes that lag.

Good question, Murderisthegame - I guess it depends on what the tuner did. It might very well be that in addition to engine management changes, a tuner already changed the drive-by-wire aspect. I wonder if one of the folks from 5* or SoCal could chime in?

Let's hope they see it because I'm curious.... more or less just to know.

i have an SCT livewire tuner and still have a bunch of lag off the line. Would this be compatible with my tuner or is there somewhere in my tuner i could adjust this?

I hate the throttle lag my 2013 5.0 has .... it dose it in 1st to 2nd gear ... peddle wot and it takes off then when it shifts to second ..... again it
Feels like its dead and then takes off like it should .... screws me getting on the freeway almost got in a wreck because of it.. my superchips flashpaq helped a little but not near what I want .... superchips said I cant add a sprintbooster with a tune loaded ... any truth to this ? All I know is that its crap and I think ford should fix it not us ... as far as im concerned its a safty issue .... I could use a large sum of money if you get my drift..... I hate putting more money into stuff that should have been done right in the first place ..... just my thought but im right ....

I had a Sprint booster on my wife's last vehicle she owned. It good take the lag out of her car which was a13' dodge dart 2.0. But it's nothing significant. I wouldn't pay for it again. It came with three settings stock, green for mild throttle and red for extreme I always kept it on red to see what it would do not to bad for a 4cyl but doubt it would help our big V8s

There is a highway on ramp that I merge onto daily. It is going up hill and trying to merge with the throttle delay was often dangerous IMO. The sprint booster has completely eliminated this issue. I am running an SCT tune and a CAI. These helped, but the Sprint booster really woke up the truck, it does not act lazy , just goes when I command !
Expensive, but it does what it says.

Its a signal converter. It's basically a placebo. Your electronic throttle control works on a linear signal no gas pedal deflection signal is 0, floor the pedal signal is 100. (simplicity sake). These placebos are little computers that plug into your car, intercept the signal from the throttle and send a more aggressive one to the computer. 0 is still zero but the deflection of the pedal changes the signal like 2X the normal rate of a speed. Car still goes the same speed as previous but the computer now sees a higher signal for a smaller pedal movement. What this means for you is jackrabbit starts and more gas use.
